the site.“We made the choice that it should be
a sculptural pavilion building, symbolizing a
‘guest in the park’,” says De Brouwer.“By
placing it at the corner of Primus van Gils Park
it will be absorbed by the surrounding streets;
Primus van Gilsstraat and Bisschop
Zwijsenstraat.” He describes it as a “green gift to
a context with a not very good history [that will
end up] lifting the quality of the area” by
creating a new urban coherence with
dynamic connections to the surrounding park
and townscape.
