Austral Masonry extends South East Queensland Landscaping Range
Austral Masonry – part of the Brickworks Building Products group – has reinvigorated its South East Queensland landscaping range with new colours, additional retaining wall ranges, and the introduction of clay and natural stone pavers.
New colours have been introduced to the retaining walls range and include: mid-brown ‘Bark’; grey-brown ‘Oak’; and green-brown ‘Gumnut’, opening up even more choice when it comes to creative landscape designs. The new retaining wall products in these colours are available at various locations across South-East Queensland.
The new retaining wall options include the smooth-faced Hayman retaining wall products which are produced in four new colours and strikingly modern in appearance. Largely maintenance free, the Hayman’s mortarless interlock and manageable weight make it easy to install. In terms of size and format, Hayman is virtually identical to the company’s popular Heron range.
The Heron range likewise has evolved to include the ‘Bark’, ‘Gumnut’ and ‘Oak’ colour options, increasing the range of choices for landscape designs.
The Grandwall range has also been added. This product is a short and wide retaining wall block that creates a modern linear finish and will initially be released in a split face finish and two colours: Beach and Charcoal.
Complementing the new colours in retaining wall products, is the extensive range of clay pavers produced by sister company, Austral Bricks. These include the Paradise, Hamlet and London ranges, all of which offer outstanding colour longevity, durability, and suit applications from poolsides, walkways, driveways and many more.
The stylish range of Terre natural stone pavers is yet another addition and are showcased at Brickworks’ design studio in James Street, Brisbane. Classy, yet subtle, this beautiful new range is available in a natural limestone colour, and flamed finish, which can be ordered in numerous sizes, including an eye-catching 1.44m French pattern. The French pattern configuration combines numerous pavers of different sizes. When laid together they create an irregular bond pattern and unique effect.
In addition, Austral Masonry has released the Endurastone range of natural granite pavers which are available in a flamed and polished finish. Three colours are available; a black, grey and silver, all of which feature a subtle shimmer where the light touches thanks limestone deposits that are inherent in all granite products.
While no colour warranty is offered on either clay or stone pavers, the natural composition of both pavers, and kiln firing in the case of clay pavers, means they offer better colour longevity than many other competing products.
